These Terms of Hire apply whenever you book equipment from King Koa Recovery ("we", "us", "our"), operating a mobile recovery equipment hire service across Cronulla and the Sutherland Shire, NSW. By submitting a booking request, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the young athlete named on the booking.
Equipment must be booked by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of an athlete aged between 10 and 16. The booking parent or guardian is responsible for supervising equipment use and ensuring it is used as intended.
Equipment can be hired by the day, weekend or week. A booking is confirmed once we've been in touch to verify availability, delivery details and payment. Hire periods begin at the agreed delivery time and end at the agreed collection time.
We deliver and collect equipment across Cronulla and the wider Sutherland Shire at no additional cost, within the delivery window agreed at booking. Someone aged 18 or over must be present to receive and hand back the equipment.
Hired equipment remains the property of King Koa Recovery at all times. While in your care, you agree to:
Normal wear from ordinary use during the hire period is expected and is not charged. If equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond normal wear while in your care, a repair or replacement fee may apply, up to the full replacement cost of the item. We'll always discuss any damage with you directly before charging a fee.
You can cancel or reschedule a booking free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice before the agreed delivery time. Cancellations made with less notice, or missed deliveries where no one is available to receive the equipment, may incur a fee to cover the reserved delivery slot.
Recovery equipment hired from King Koa Recovery is intended for general recovery use by young athletes and is not a substitute for medical advice. If your athlete has an injury, medical condition, or is unsure whether a piece of equipment is suitable for them, please check with a doctor or physiotherapist before use. King Koa Recovery is not liable for injury or harm arising from misuse of equipment or from underlying medical conditions not disclosed at the time of booking.
Hire fees are payable as agreed at the time of booking confirmation, ahead of delivery. Prices are shown on our pricing page and are current at the time of booking.
We may update these Terms of Hire from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply to that hire.
